Challenging Summit Hike-Old Man Mountain

Close to town, epic views, challenging and steep. We are now offering guided hikes of Roche Bonhomme, our famous “Old Man Mountain” of Jasper. Those looking for a challenge, but not wanting to spend a long time driving should inquire about this tour. Due to the challenging nature of this hike, you will need to contact us directly to book.
We pickup at 8am. Please be ready in front of your accommodation at 8am.
We provide transportation from in and around the Jasper townsite. If you are staying outside of town we meet at the totem pole across from 500 Connaught drive at 8am
1.5 litres of water/person
Rain gear
A warm layer
Long pants or zip offs (even if it is warm in town when we gain elevation it can cool off significantly)
Hiking boots
Gloves and a Toque (beenie/ski cap)
Sunglasses
Sunscreen and mosquito repellent
Hiking poles (optional)
Your lunch and a snack
If you are missing any of these items please contact us and we can try to bring you some extra gear as needed.
This is a challenging summit hike, guests must have a good level of fitness and be prepared for a long day travelling in a mix of steep and sometimes unstable terrain.
